History

Founded in 1982, Broadacres Farm Nursery School has expanded from originally having 2 classes to its present 14 classes, catering for children from 6 months - 6 years of age. Phedre & Nigel Fitton bought the school in 1996 and live on the property. The school is under their direct personal supervision

Broadacres Staff

At this unique educational establishment, the child's every need is catered for in the structured daily programme, with extra-mural activities being incorporated into the school morning.

The school has a large barn for extra mural activities, a fully equipped media centre from which the children can borrow books, and a large undercover play area with cycle track, play equipment and ball skills sections.

The school is divided into three sections:

  1. Creche (9 - 18 months)
  2. Juniors (18 months - 3 years)
  3. Pre-Primary (4 - 6 years)
What makes Broadacres Unique ?

Set in 7 acres, the school is attached to a farm with horses, donkeys, ducks, geese, pigs, tortoises, chickens & rabbits. This allows children to enjoy a rural environment in today's urban jungle!

The animals give the children an opportunity to express affection and care. We have a large barn and undercover play area for wet weather activities, and our school library is the envy of many schools
