Lions

The Giraffes , Lions, Leopards - we're on a par
We are the five year olds; the best age by far.
We cut and paint, draw and glue,
we use our imaginations too.
We also practice for the years to come
doing shapes and colours and even a sum.
Perceptual work is part of the day,
with matching and sorting to get us on our way.
We also touch on the Letterland friends
to teach us pronunciation and all their trends.
At the end of this all it's time to relax,
to listen to a story as we lie on our backs.
Then off home we go with a smile on our face
to return the next day to this wonderful place.
