Phedre Fitton - Co-owner

I was born in UK in 1944 but spent my school years in Manchester. I met Nigel at Grammar School in 1960 at the school Dancing Club and we married in 1967, after I had completed my musical and teaching degrees. So many years ago! 

I taught in Manchester & London before our 3 children were born - Antonia in 1971, Miles in 1973 & Danielle born in 1976.

I taught in the International School in Dar-Es Salaam, Braeburn House in Nairobi, the English School in Addis Ababa, and The Mombasa School in Kenya following my itinerant Engineer husband, before moving to South Africa in 1979.

On arrival I taught at Brescia House for 1 year, before concentrating on private piano teaching at home in Randburg.
In 1983, I started teaching Grade 0 at Swan Nursery School in Randburg, until we bought Broadacres in 1996.

I enjoy movies, travelling, and love spending Nigel's money!
